Linux Polska has received the SUSE Partner of the Year 2022 award. The company has been honored from amongst the best SUSE partners in Poland for an exceptional commitment in implementation of projects in the field of IT transformation based on the open source solutions.
SUSE Partner of the Year are the awards for SUSE partners, who, in the last year, have implemented substantial enterprise class IT solutions, contributing to the competitive edge and based on SUSE technologies.
Amongst the projects completed by Linux Polska in the past year, a special attention deserves the productional implementation of a new application container platform in Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The platform is based on SUSE Rancher – an intuitive tool facilitating the management of multiple Kubernetes clusters. Via the new solution, the bank can significantly increase the process of development and deployment of critical business applications according to the best DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Another attention worthy endeavor, is the cooperation with Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK) in the project named ‘EZD RP – electronic management of documentation in the public administration’. It is a key stage in a broader project of digital transformation in public administration implemented as part of the ‘Program Polska Cyfrowa’.
Linux Polska has provided the container platform – based on SUSE Rancher – to the needs of building the SaaS cloud infrastructure for ‘EZD RP’ software designed for electronic management of documentation in public administration. The new container platform will allow an unrestricted launching of applications in the cloud, which will enhance the circulation of electronic documentation between the central and regional departments.
It is also worth mentioning that, as of May 2023, Linux Polska is the first organization in Poland to achieve the highest Platinum status of SUSE partnership. This accomplishment has strengthened its position as the largest open source competency center in Poland and internationally.
