He has been involved in relational database technology and practice for 30 years. He has worked as (in alphabetical order) a database administrator, architect, sales support engineer, technical support engineer, consultant and designer. He has also not shied away from solving problematic issues of designing or software database systems in areas requiring an unconventional approach to scaling, performance and security, including for clients in the telecommunications and public sectors. In 2000-2021 he worked at Oracle. Since 2021 he has been dealing with Postgres on a full scale, working at EDB and supporting its clients.
